The tale of the rose.

A heart got caught
in the throes of young love
It blossomed and bloomed and blushed all the way
It fueled dreams like no other, it took her breath away

Young love turned deep and intense
Sprinkled profusely with soul
It stumbled but rose, as red as a rose
Passion bubbled over and didn't leave it astray

It simmered, it burned
steady for a long while
It embraced forever
Even across miles

Until the fire burned down to a spark
the same spark that made the bushfire roar
It burnt and spit and settled in a pit
the same spark whose heart it lit

The soul wept and died for the rose now dry
The garden is empty, devoid all beauty
Barren replaced it
never to return?

Now, it yearns for a flutter of a breeze
Which can revive the soul in her.
The soul on fire, the soul dancing with desire.

All because
A heart got caught
in the throes of young love.

Loved the way feelings are expressed.
Especially the lines -
"Now, it yearns for a flutter of a breeze
Which can revive the soul in her.
The soul on fire, the soul dancing with desire."
